The Process
Storyboarding
The first step to any great animation is a storyboard! Our storyboards allow us to provide a visual concept for any idea you want animated. This helps refine any decisions, like adding or removing elements, before the final product is started, ensuring we are moving together as one unit towards the same goal.
Creating the Frames
The next step is to transfer the storyboard to the screen, and using it as a guide, the storyboard comes to life! Frames for movement, expression, and speaking are created throughout the process with the thought of visual appeal and effectiveness. Each frame is hand-drawn, and once the line work is finished, color is added where necessary or where the client specifies.
Final Edit
Once the frames are created and colored as needed, the last step is making them move! Bringing the frames into our editing software, we begin to lay them down and sync them up with the audio. Once the frames are set up and the effects for engaging storytelling are added, the animation is completed.
